ARLINGTON, Tx (KDAF) — Hispanic Heritage Month begins this week and if you’re in Arlington this week, you’ll have the chance to see one of the biggest names in Tejano music for free.
On Saturday, September 17, Arlington’s Mayor’s Latino Advisory Council will host its Hispanic Heritage Celebration at the Levitt Pavilion, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Officials say there will be food vendors, food trucks and a free concert by Grammy-winning Tejano musical artist Sunny Sauceda. The San Antonio native is a three-time Grammy-winning entertainer who began his career at age 5.
“With multiple chart-topping songs, music videos, live streams, multiple awards, and successful tours, Sauceda y Todo Eso has continued to deliver high-energy shows night after night and maintained a large audience on all its social media platforms with several viral videos.! In 2019, Sauceda received the Entertainer of the Year award at the prestigious Tejano Music Awards,” officials said on the event’s website.
Event guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, food and beverages. Parking is also free. Officials simply ask guests not to bring glass containers. For more information, click here.
