Hugh Jackman, Sutton Foster and the cast of THE MUSIC MAN perform “Seventy-Six Trombones” at the Tony Awards

The first performance of the evening was Hugh Jackman, Sutton Fosterand the cast of The Music Man, who brought “Seventy-Six Trombones” to the Radio City stage!

The evening will include performances from this year’s Tony Award-nominated musicals including A Strange Loop, Company, Girl From the North Country, MJ, Mr. Saturday Night, Music Man, Paradise Square and SIX. Tony Award winners will also take the stage to help celebrate this extraordinary evening. Bernadette Peters, Billy Porter; The New York City Gay Men’s Chorus and a special reunion performance by the original cast members of the 2007 Tony Award-winning musical “Spring Awakening.”

The 75th celebration of the Tonys will recognize all categories of awards and honor the incredible artistry of the 2021-2022 season. The Tony Awards, which recognize theater professionals for their distinguished achievements on Broadway, are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theater Wing and have aired on CBS since 1978.
