This unique music venue is one of Montana’s hidden gems

Montana is full of great live music venues, but it’s one of the most intimate places to catch a show.

Located on East Peach Street on the north side of Bozeman, you’ll find a small brick building that’s been renovated into an intimate venue for live music. The place is known as Live From the Divide.

Each month, performers take to the small stage in the 117-year-old brick-and-timber building near the old railroad yard, giving no more than 50 people at a time the chance to hear real American roots music. with unique and raw acoustics. and an intimate and personal emotion.

Live from the Divide – Bozeman

The building, which now houses Live from the fracture was first used as a cold store. When trains came into town carrying perishables, they were stored in the building before being distributed around Bozeman.

Several well-known names in American roots music have performed at Live From the Divide over the years, including Tyler Childer, Sturgil-Simpson, Billy strings, Charlie Croquet, Ramblin’ Jack Elliot, and more. If you missed any of the shows listed above, you can watch them again here.

Live from the fracture

There’s literally no other place quite like Live From the Divide, and we’re incredibly lucky to have such a special place in Bozeman. It gives people the opportunity to hear singers and songwriters in a raw, intimate and stripped-down setting.

On-site performances would not be possible without local sponsors. Oboza Bozeman-based shoe company is one of the sponsors helping to keep the doors open and the music playing.

I’ve been to quite a few shows at Live From the Divide, and it’s definitely one of my favorite places to experience live music. Space is also available for private shows, private meetings, small business events, or any other event where you want a unique venue for up to 50+ people. If you want to attend a show, you can find the full schedule and tickets at
