US-based gospel music sensation Amor Wonder releases “Overcome”

Overcome is a song born out of a number of writings that have been my daily statement for the past two years. 2019 to 2021 was one of the most difficult times of my life and the word of God in Psalm 46 and Romans 8:31-35 became my truth, my anchor and my strength to get there. God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in difficulties. Therefore, we will not be afraid, though the earth will give way and the mountains will fall into the heart of the sea God is in her, she will not fail! : If God is for us, who can be against us? I nourished myself daily with these passages, so much so that they became a part of me, and that God gave me the melody. To my surprise, it was different from other melodies and my other songs. This time, I was not only going to sing, but also dance. Dance in victory, for with God we have victory! Dancing through whatever life can throw at us because truly in God we overcome the world and all it stands for. “All these things” as Romans 8:31 says. Challenges will come, life is full of obstacles and battles, but in all of this we are more than conquerors through the one who loved us! Truly the word of God is truth, life and power.

For anyone who is going through hardships in life and feels like they are sinking, I pray that the word of God through this song will come alive in you and that these truths will lead you to see yourself as the winner that you are in Christ. Yes, because with God, in God we OVERCOME, join us to celebrate the victory! Thank you Almighty God and everyone involved in this project, all my friends, family, choir and church family, I am beyond grateful!

Lol) or the CD player , playing non-stop, and everyone singing! he says. “There was always this happy and lively atmosphere in the house” Music is life, as the saying goes!

As shy as I was, I would always find a way to stand in front of the crowd and sing along. she laughs! Amor says that even when she felt nervous, there was something inside her that pushed her and propelled her to sing. She found out later. It was God!

When she personally met the Lord Jesus and gave her life to God as a teenager, it all took on more meaning for her, she says. Amor quickly discovered that she was born to do this and felt a deep joy, peace and purpose listening to Christian music and singing songs of worship, whether in church or in her own time. free. Her family and friends realized she was destined for this and told her how blessed and uplifted they were every time they heard her sing. “For me, it was not ordinary,” she says. “It was God!

Years later, after a period of “lost passion” as she calls it, for what she sees as the reason she was created, God brought together all that was necessary for His purpose in her life. be accomplished in the most extraordinary way. At that time, Amor says that “everything was ready” for her to fulfill this mission. God rekindled her fire and opened a well of inspiration within her. He put the right people in his life (family, church and friends) His father’s words in the Lord Apostle Johnson Suleman of OFM around the world during his lifetime a few years ago come to life before our very eyes, and all can testify to the inspiration and blessing of being part of the body of Christ and the world.

Pastor Gideon, who is the pastor of Amor, immediately saw this gift and called her and never stopped encouraging her, praying for her and giving her the platform to s ‘Express. The reason we are today, because he is the initiator of this glorious event. His brother Mildmayking Ebot, who is also his manager and executive producer, played and still plays a pivotal role in his music career and ministry. He is the driving force behind it all,” she says. They all work as a team with his sister-in-law, Bess, who is sent by God, says Amor. “I can never thank God enough for them,” she adds. I am amazed at how God’s plan for your life will always come true as long as you remain in Him, regardless of obstacles and challenges. I cannot end without mentioning my mother, who is my daily source of encouragement, my prayer partner and my backbone. I am grateful for all these people and so many others that I cannot mention here for the sake of time.

Amor, however, attributes this to the Holy Spirit, who she says is the one who speaks to the hearts of listeners. Without him, his music would be as good as noise. She says God is her inspiration and her music is a representation of who he is – LOVE – for everyone; “Love knows no language, no color, no religion, no culture, no status.
